Yayayayayay! We're getting ready to pack and preparing to head out =) It's less then a week away!
For everyone following our blog: the comments have been fixed! Just click the number of comments to add a comment and use the "Name/URL" option and it now works. Woo-hoo. Hopefully no more bugs. =)
Our next post will be from not-so-sunny London (but that's OK, bring on the clouds)!! =)
I'm wwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy excited for our trip and I wanted to share my excitement with you! =) So, here's a brief photo journal (compliments of google images!) of the very Londonish things Terri and I plan to do! It will be more exciting when we can show your our own pictures, but for now, this will do!
First, since I will be of legal drinking age in Europe, Terri and I plan to have a traditional London Pimms and a Pint. =) Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Also, while we're drinking Londonish drinks, I would like to have a spot of traditional London tea. =) I'm not sure how Terri feels, but I'm sure this is on the schedule.
After all that drinking, we're going to need a rideeeeeeeeeee! These are rather expensive, but a ride in one of London's infamous black taxi's is essential!
Another Londonish necessity is going to a play. We're going to see "Love Never Dies," a sequel to Phantom of the Opera.
Finally, we're heading out to see the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace and shopping at Harrods! Yaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!!
All credit for this blog goes to Ashley...this is all her doing. I will try my best to come up with some entries worthy of her time and effort.
I can't believe we are less than seven weeks out from our trip. When we started planning we were at 400 and some odd days! Now it's like I wanna hit the brakes and slow everything down so we can just enjoy our excitement and the fun of planning....after all, planning is half the fun of a vacation, right?!!?
Welcome to Terri and Ashley's London Travel Blog. =)
We created this blog as a means to keep in touch with friends and family while we're vacationing overseas and also as a record of our trip. We'll post photos (likely once we've returned home), links, our itinerary, and tons of other cool, "Londonish" (that's our word for anything we feel relates to our trip) stuff. So check back often as we've got tons of exciting information we're dying to share! =)
