Another b-e-a-u-tiful, sunny day! It's been soooo nice here!!
We started today off at Kensington Palace, the former home of Princess Diana. It was really pretty, but surprisingly empty and bare. =( No one lives there anymore, so it is now open to the public, but they've removed most of the contents. There was a AWESOME display of some of Princess Diana's gowns and another display about debutants that was rather boring. =( Overall, the palace was very impressive. The park in which it is situated it fabulous! We wandered around outside for quite some time. It was great! =) Best of all, WE GOT TO TAKE PICTURES! We knew Wendy would enjoy the gowns, so we took tons of pictures here. =)

After seeing Kensington Palace, we headed over to Westminster Abbey. It's a giant church that's over 1100 years old!!! We're slowly learning that everything here is older than our entire country! Hahaha. It was incredible and beautiful, but we weren't allowed to take pictures, so there isn't much to share. =(

After that, we took a double decker bus for the first time. That was fun!! We headed to Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. Terri was WAY excited because they sold Alabama Slammers, her favorite drink at home. =)

Tonight we're tackling the theatre (mmhmmm... "-re" here, not "-er"). Theatre is HUGE here. It's hard to describe how important theatre is to the British. It's a lot like tea I suppose. There are theatres EVERYWHERE and advertisements for plays/musicals ALL OVER. We wanted to see a movie, but SURPRISE! we can't find a cinema! Hahaha. Go figure! So, tonight we're seeing Wicked. Tomorrow night we're going out again to see Love Never Dies, the sequel to Phantom of the Opera. It should be great - at least we're hoping so!
